Jalapeño Turkey Burgers
Memorial Day weekend is a perfect time to kick off the grilling season. And I got the perfect meal for that.
These jalapeño turkey burgers topped with guacamole and pico de gallo are out of this world good. They come together pretty quickly and are so flavorful!
The base of the burger is the Cranberry & Jalapeño Turkey Patties from Shady Brook Farms. They are stuffed with jalapeños, cranberries, and white cheddar cheese.
Ingredients for Jalapeño Turkey Burgers
- Turkey patties
- Burger buns
- Avocado
- Sweet onion
- Cilantro
- Fresh lime juice
- Tomatoes
- Garlic
How to Make Jalapeño Turkey Burger Recipe
To grill the turkey patties, you want to make sure your grill is oiled up before you add them on. Use medium-high heat, for about 3-4 minutes per side. Do not overcook them.
They should be tender and juicy. You can also let them rest for few minutes before assembling.
If you’re going to make these for the holiday weekend, I would suggest you make the guacamole and pico de gallo first and then throw the turkey patties on the grill.
So all you have to do is just assemble. For the guacamole and pico de gallo all you have to do is toss the ingredients together in a bowl. Both are best when served immediately.
What Toppings Do You Put on a Turkey Burger?
In addition to the guacamole and pico de gallo, you can also top your turkey burgers with the following:
- Lettuce
- Mayonnaise
- Thinly sliced jalapeños
- Sliced red onion
- Tomato slices
