Description

Easy grilled jalapeño turkey burgers topped with guacamole and pico de gallo! The combo of flavors is out of this world good and these are a must for summertime.


Ingredients

  • 4 Shady Brook Farms Cranberry & Jalapeño Turkey Patties with White Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 burger buns (we love Kaiser or Brioche Buns)

Quick Guacamole

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped sweet onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 lime, juiced, plus more to taste
  • Kosher salt and fresh black pepper, to taste

Quick Pico de Gallo

  • 2 ripe tomatoes on the vine or Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped sweet onion
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lime, juiced, plus more to taste
  • Kosher salt and fresh black pepper

Additional Toppings

  • Lettuce
  • Mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Prepare an outdoor grill on medium-high heat.
  2. Place the turkey patties on the grill and cook for 3 minutes, covered. Flip and continue to cook, covered, for 3-4 minutes more or until cooked through.
  3. Serve each patty on a burger bun topped with guacamole, pico de gallo, and any additional toppings as desired.

To Make Guacamole

  1. Place the avocado into a medium bowl and roughly mash with a fork. Stir in the onions, cilantro, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

To Make Pico de Gallo

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the tomatoes, onions, cilantro, garlic, and lime juice. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Notes

  • Make sure your grill grate is oiled before adding the turkey patties.
