Description

There’s nothing better than a tray of warm, melty turkey sliders fresh out of the oven! These little sandwiches are packed with deli turkey, gooey Swiss cheese, and a buttery, savory topping that takes them over the top. Whether you’re making them for game day, a casual family dinner, or just because, they’re guaranteed to disappear fast!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. original Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 oz. thinly sliced deli turkey
  • 6 oz. shredded Swiss cheese or thinly sliced Swiss cheese from the deli
  • 6 slices cooked bacon (not thick cut)
  • 8 Tbsp. (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 2 tsp. everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9X13 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.

  2. Without separating the rolls, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the rolls.

  3. Layer the turkey slices evenly over the rolls. Add cheese over the turkey. Top with bacon. Place the top half of the rolls over the fillings.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, honey, garlic powder, and parsley.

  5. Generously brush the buttery mixture over the tops of the rolls and sides, making sure they’re evenly coated. There’s going to be a lot of butter. Let the rolls sit for 5 minutes to soak up some of the butter.  Sprinkle the top of the rolls with everything bagel seasoning.

  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes, remove foil in the last 5 minutes and bake until tops are golden brown and cheese is melted. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. These are best enjoyed warm, but they’re still delicious at room temperature.

Notes

  • Mustard: Yellow mustard can replace Dijon but will lack depth and sharpness.
  • Leftovers: Store leftover turkey sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months.
