Description
There’s nothing better than a tray of warm, melty turkey sliders fresh out of the oven! These little sandwiches are packed with deli turkey, gooey Swiss cheese, and a buttery, savory topping that takes them over the top. Whether you’re making them for game day, a casual family dinner, or just because, they’re guaranteed to disappear fast!
Ingredients
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. original Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 8 oz. thinly sliced deli turkey
- 6 oz. shredded Swiss cheese or thinly sliced Swiss cheese from the deli
- 6 slices cooked bacon (not thick cut)
- 8 Tbsp. (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 2 tsp. everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9X13 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
-
Without separating the rolls, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the rolls.
-
Layer the turkey slices evenly over the rolls. Add cheese over the turkey. Top with bacon. Place the top half of the rolls over the fillings.
-
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, honey, garlic powder, and parsley.
-
Generously brush the buttery mixture over the tops of the rolls and sides, making sure they’re evenly coated. There’s going to be a lot of butter. Let the rolls sit for 5 minutes to soak up some of the butter. Sprinkle the top of the rolls with everything bagel seasoning.
-
Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes, remove foil in the last 5 minutes and bake until tops are golden brown and cheese is melted. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. These are best enjoyed warm, but they’re still delicious at room temperature.
Notes
- Mustard: Yellow mustard can replace Dijon but will lack depth and sharpness.
- Leftovers: Store leftover turkey sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months.
